Critic Review: "Taking a sip reveals surprising depth of flavor with tons of green apple, lime and touches of tropical fruit in this tart and tasty wine. And while there’s plenty of sweet tasting fruit, it’s a fairly dry wine which isn’t always common with Pinot Grigio at this low of a price point." - Jon Thorsen on Reverse Wine Snob
Wine Folly: I immediately tasted a zesty lemon flavor and a hint a cantalope. I did not taste crushed gravel or raw almond at all.
My Review: This is the second pinot grigio I have ever had, but it tasted watered down. I had to put in a lot of effort to try to find the flavors of this wine. Giretto's Pinot Grigio was slightly dry to me and tasted very light. Although it comes with a great price, I wouldn't purchase this again because of the watered down flavor.
